June 6th 2021, was the 300th anniversary of the death of Dorothy, Lady Capel, who was a friend of Queen Anne and a resident of Kew. A memorial to her is next to the South Door of the Church. Lady Capel’s Charity, which originates from the terms of Lady Capel’s Will, gives its entire annual income to five Schools, and the Queen’s School is one of them.
